Should formula be warm. A warm bottle will prevent them from losing all of that precious body heat. Never heat formula in a microwave oven the liquid may warm unevenly or the container may remain cool while the formula has gotten hot enough to burn babys mouth or throat. Some parents like to give their baby a bottle of warm formula because they believe that makes it seem more like breast milk.
Your baby may prefer it warm at room temperature or even chilled and all of those options are just fine. Dont warm bottles in the microwave. Run the bottle under very warm or hot water for a few minutes.

Your babys digestive system is still developing so you provide them with formula that is gentle on their tummy. The same is true if their formula is too cold. If you do put the prepared formula in the refrigerator be sure to use it within 24 hours.
Others do so because it seems more relaxing for the baby that way. Babies have trouble with cold formula in their stomach. If your baby ends up preferring bottles warm use a bowl or pot of hot not boiling water or use a specially designed bottle warmer.
